As sure as summer is in the air, Colorado sets aside June as a month to celebrate getting around by your own steam with peddles and two wheels. Bike to work, bike for fun, bike to
school, bike to de-stress, get your kids out biking, you get the idea. Governor John Hinkenlooper dedicated $100M and a pledge that Colorado will be the most bike friendly state in the union, a showcase for bicycle tourism and to insure that every resident is within 10 minutes of a local trail. Great news for all types of cyclists.
I’m reminded of Albert Einstein’s quote, referring to how he cooked up the theory of relativity, “I thought of it while riding my bike”, he famously quipped. Well, we could certainly use a few more good ideas to solve pressing problems.
